We came here on a Sunday night. Right when we walked in, the staff was very courteous and sat us very quickly. Service is really quick at this restaurant considering there was a lot of customers being served. We ordered the tom kah gai, beef panang curry, beef pad thai. I think I am used to asking for the amount of spiciness from other restaurants, but we weren't asked here. We usually like the dishes spicy, but they weren't. The soup was good, and had a more lemongrass taste, which was different but nice. The serving size of the curry was pretty big and was tasty. The pad thai was average and was a little cold compared to the curry. That was weird considering how fast it came out. Overall, prices are reasonable and food is good. Still looking for my favorite Thai restaurant in the Orlando area.

This is the best Thai food restaurants that I have found in the Central Florida area. The staff is nice and they have great lunch specials. The only thing that I have had there that wasn't up to par is the Pad Thai and summer rolls. It is really bad in my opinion but everything else that I have tried has been amazing. Some of my faves are the Pad Kee Moi, Papaya Salad, Pad See Ew, Green Curry, Panang Curry, Red Curry, and Massaman Curry.

They are known to take off a month or so in the summer time so make sure to check that they are open. Besides that I love the panang duck curry! Very flavorful and the duck is crispy on the outside and tender on the inside.

I really enjoy the food and atmosphere at Thai Villa. This restaurant has been here for a long time, and they have always had sweet servers and good food. I recommend the pad thai, the pad see ew (don't know if I'm spelling that right, and the drunken noodles are also really good. If the dish doesn't already come with Thai basil, I will usually request it because I LOVE THAI BASIL. Trust. It makes everything better. Oh! And don't forget Thai tea. No visit to a Thai restaurant is complete without some Thai tea. Everything here is good. It is in a convenient location, it's cute, and intimate. It's always pretty quiet in there too, so it's a good place for meetings, romance, break ups, whatever your heart desires. I'm kidding. Don't break up with your significant other in public...it ruins everyone's night. But do come here for good grub :)

This is my local Thai place and I love their food. I usually get the panang curry. It's rich and flavorful and so filling. My boyfriend usually gets the yellow or red Thai which is also equally delicious. They even do Thai teas to go, which are so good! I didn't give it a full five stars because sometimes their food temperature is a little off when I order take out (maybe because the time they tell me to pick it up is too late?) and it can be pretty pricey for some of their basic items.

Worst customer service on the planet!! Consider urself warned! They will Nickle and dime u for any and all substitutions..modifications, etc. They do not care if they get ur take out order wrong. They will ARGUE with you about how "u ordered the wrong dish". Are you serious? I know what soup I like! I NEVER order anything different. Hire someone who can actually take an order correctly. They made my pad thai wrong and gave me the wrong soup...I called to inform them of that...and they wanted me to return the wrong food and get the right food. "Um,...so you want me to drive all the way back there so I can prove to you that ur order taker can't do her job correctly and u can give me what I ordered in the first place at no discount'? How about everything is free at this point bc u f***ed up!????? They do not care about getting ur repeat business. I ended up keeping the wrong food and getting a credit on my debit card after arguing with the girl for almost 15 minutes. I go to Viet Garden once or twice a week...spending almost $1500 a year there..That could be you Thai Villa...since u are right next to my house and Viet Garden is 20 minutes away. BUT, BC you nickle and dime me for every substitution and don't care when u screw up..I AM DONE. I refuse to mention the taste of their food..bc that's not what really matters. But, feel free to scroll down and read how their food is mediocre at best..nothing to keep coming back for. I'd rather give my money to ANY other Thai restaurant in town..than this DIVE. THEY are NEVER busy and it IS for a reason. Go to Thai basil off of Red Bug if u don't want to drive downtown. Parking is also horrendous. I WISH I could give this place 0 stars. When I read about this restaurant closing down due to lack of profits...I won't be surprised. CUSTOMER SERVICE is the only thing that will keep you alive. BEWARE!!!

Best Thai food in the area. I've been to Thailand, and this is the real thing. One caution. They tend to make dishes very mild to suit Central Florida tastes. I always say that I love Thai food hot, but probably not as hot as you do. They know what I mean.

Best kept secret in town and we've been to ALL the thai restaurants in Central Florida. You will love the crab rangoons and spring rolls.

Veggie pad thai and thai tea saved me from a long day of work yesterday. The parking here is a little tricky. The driveway was actually blocked when I tried to go pick up my food so I parked next door and fought my way through what felt like a jungle (in heels) to get there. I must have looked crazy but it was worth it. I've been here a few times and will be back again.

Excellent authentic cuisine. Reminder: CLOSED FOR VACATION from May 17, 2015 to July 8, 2015. Small and short on atmosphere, they more than compensate with tasty dishes. Have a beer and noodles. They are very good at seasoning spicy to taste. I like it hot and they did an admirable job!

I wasn't impressed with the food during a lunch date with my girlfriends. I've heard about this place from my cousin a long time ago and been wanting to try it out. Sadly I was disappointed. Perhaps they changed cooks or something since my cousin mentioned it. The Tom yum soup was ok, a little too sour and was missing that kick factor. The pad Thai was too sweet and just alright. The only thing I did enjoy during my meal was the Thai iced tea. Not sure if I'll go out of my way to come back here.

40 years of familiarity with Thai cuisine has lent me a reasonable perspective on it, I believe. Thai Villa is not fancy but tidy; it is a place reminiscent of my year in Udon Thank at Udorn RTAFB. The staff is friendly, capable, and prompt. This is my 2nd visit. The food is authentic, delicious, and presented well, but not fancy; like a good family restaurant in Thailand. Check out the stuffed chicken wing appetizer, tom kha gain soup, green curry, or basil fried rice. Next time, deeper into the menu. Enjoy

I would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for authentic Thai food. Fantastic!!

  • Jinnie S.

This was just okay. It was decent for the price but it didn't have the right amount of sweetness or fish flavor which I feel are the primary characteristics of a good tasting pad thai. I'm in search for the perfect Pad Thai and I've tried a BUNCH of different places and have yet to find one that is just right.

I've always driven by this restaurant and decided to try it out one night with the hubs. It's a little smaller than I thought picturing from the outside, and it looks like it's Xmas all year long year. We started out with the chicken satay and tom yum soup. The chicken was good but the peanut sauce seemed a bit watered down. The soup could have more ingredients added to it and I kept getting large lemongrass stalks that was not edible. I ordered the pad thai for my entree and was sadly disappointing. The noodles was too thin, and could be recognized as pho noodles. At least the chili jam friend rice the hubs order was a lot better which I kept stealing bites from. Don't think I will be back, would stick to my regular thai place a little farther out.

Pad Kee Mao here is good! Family style serving and good portions! The Mango Sticky Rice was also delicious! Soft sweet sticky rice was buried under a perfect riped mango and creamy coconut cream! The sesame seeds added good crunch and taste to it! The Pad Kee Mao was glistening with the brown sauce Im used to seeing at Good Thai Eats in California ... lots of veggies and noodles! The Tod Mun was sliced with the excellent fish sauce just wished the size of the fish cakes were larger in circles? Ive tried their Pad See Ew & Pad Thai & They are def my top Thai Eats in Orlando! You def get larger portions than if you order take out! So its best to eat and dine in to get the $$ worth on portions! Interesting to know that Thai House on Colonial - The owners of that and this place are related (brothers)? Thai House is my other option too for Thai Eats!

When I think of this place, I hear the sad horn that plays from The Price is Right show when someone loses. Badumpbadump-whaaaaa. Meh. I've personally tried this place 3 times. I hate disliking something, and I always try to give establishments the benefit of the doubt and I try to be objective. But c'mon, 3 times ordering several different varieties of dishes and I can honestly say I find absolutely no flavor in their food. While their service is friendly, it's often very rushed. Why?? There's like 2 people here and one of them is just me. I've ordered appetizers, soups, noodles, entrees and all sad. My soups were all moderately warm 2 out of 3 orders and vegetables were almost completely raw. Im not trying to do a Thai-Macrobiotic diet. Salt, Steam and some flavor insert here please. Noodle portions were decent but sauces were thin and frankly lacked seasonings. 3 strikes and I'll never be back. Nothing impressive to compliment.

I've been eating here fairly regularly for a few years. Excellent curries and the crazy yellow meat is also great. I wish I could tell you more, but once you get a taste of that sweet, sweet Massuman currry (the mango curry and assorted curries they have on special are also great), you'll be hooked. Thai hot is the way to go, you might end up sweating bullets and questioning some of the choices you've made in life, but it's a sublime experience.

I come here occasionally for lunch and it is always packed. Beware, they are closed Wednesdays. Yes, what an odd day to be closed... but just to save you some trouble. I've only gotten the curry and the tom yum soup here before, so that is all I can speak for. The tom yum soup is decent. I actually like my tom yum soup to be more pungent with fish sauce and sour. Their tom yum soup is pretty mild. The panang curry lunch portion comes out on one big oval shaped plate. This was different than my co-workers green curry, which was in a separate bowl than his rice. Not sure the reason for this but it seemed like I had more serving of curry than him. The curry has a balanced flavor of coconut milk and curry. I usually do thai hot, but lowered it to just below Thai hot this time around. The spiciness was on point. Service can be a bit spotty.. there were only two people at the front of the house serving a full restaurant. Not sure if they have more servers on different days, but it was slow that day with two servers. Overall, great Thai food. Would like to try the Pad Thai sometime... but I always end up getting curry.

Only been there for take out, but the food is the best Thai we have had in the Orlando area. Pineapple fried rice is crazy good. Their combination fried rice is a close second. My partner enjoys the green and red curries a lot. Definitely worth the trip there.

We are lovers of Thai food and have been to many Thai places but the prices are higher than Thai Villa and the food here is excellent. It is small but clean and always busy at lunch. Service great also. Can't just pick one thing to say is our favorite as we love it all. Great food, great prices!

My boyfriend and I decided to try this place last night since he loves thai food and has passed this joint for years and never went it. At first, it was a little strange, and we weren't sure what to do. You aren't greeted by a host, I guess you just seat yourself and if there is a line you just take a seat and wait with no idea how long it will be. We finally got sat after a short wait and we looked through the menu. With some 90 items to choose from I am sure you can find something - however, we waited about 10 minutes for even a drink order. She came over and was quite sweet, we ordered the chicken rolls, pad thai and the pepper steak. The chicken rolls were very good - the pepper steak didn't have much flavor to it but the vegetables were very fresh. The pad thai was okay but again not as much flavor as we are used to from other thai restaurants. We may go back to try more. Will edit it if we do.

Not very good. Those are the words that come to my mind. The food was luke-warm and lacked any form of seasoning. The Tom Kha Gai soup was watery. They spring rolls were fried past the point of being edible unless you wanted congealed grease. The green curry was warmed coconut milk with only a tinge of green from the absent curry paste. My son ordered the wings, and they were about the best thing that came out of the kitchen that night. The prices are nearly the same as Sea Thai. Save yourself the miserable experience and just go to Sea Thai.

Our favorite Orlando Thai restaurant. Thai Villa is a small, mom and pop Thai restaurant with great food at decent prices. The Tom Kha Khai (Chicken Coconut) soup is excellent, with lots of chicken in a very tasty broth. The pork Red Curry is my favorite, pork slices with red and yellow bell pepper in a heavenly red curry gravy. The Pad Thai is good too. The servers are very friendly and helpful. The restaurant isn't very large so they can get busy on weekends and at lunch. They do have a good takeout business too.

  • James S.

Excellent Thai cuisine, nice cozy atmosphere. The food is prepared very well, and you can't go wrong with anything on the menu. Try the spring rolls! One of the best in the Orlando area.

I have been going to the Thai Villa nearly once a week for the past 3 years. I have had almost everything on the menu and it is all top notch. It is the best Thai food in the Orlando Area that I have had, followed by Sea Thai. The Chili Jam Fried Rice, the Chili Jam Double Delight and the Duck Noodle Soup are my favorite. Around Lunch time this place can get very full, so come early. Take a look at how many 5 and 4 star reviews this place has and how many negative reviews this place has, when you consider that most people will not review a place unless they have had a negative experience, this tells the tale. The negative reviews I have seen are from people that expect Corporate-style A$$ kissing for difficult patrons from a mom and pop restaurant. All around Thai Villa the best around.

This review is based solely on service and not the food. Months ago a friend and I were craving Thai. So I suggested we go here. I pass by it all the time and had never been. Turns out they are closed on Wednesdays. Strangest day of the week to be closed. Most places are closed Mondays.....Last night my fiance and I were starving and finally decided to go and guess what, it was Friday night so they were open! We get there at 930. They close at 10 or so they say.... They refused to seat us and said the kitchen was closing. So your kitchen is closed but your open for another 30 mins? They offered us to order take out, yet they just said the kitchen is closed. I am taking it as a sign to just never eat there.

The green curry is really delicious. I like that they have both regular sticky rice and dessert sticky rice. The Panang curry isn't bad either but I'm going to order green curry from now on. I haven't had a problem with service.

Absolutely amazing food!!! Definitely the little hole in the wall/family owned Thai restaurant I have been looking for in the past 2 years since I moved to Orlando. Im in love! The only thing that I was so-so about was the $2.00 up-charge for adding carrots to my fried rice...I believe its a little too much. Either way, I will be eating here more often!

  • Tammy B.

Thanks Varsha for the recommendation. The food is delicious, and the service is friendly and on top of it (except for the second order of sake that showed up late). Prices are reasonable. The parking lot is a bitch when the restaurant and the dance school (next door) are busy.

My fave traditional Thai place. I've been all over, including Thailand, and this is the best!!

  • Farley G.

This place had very attentive servers and really delicious fare. My date had the sizzling beef (it REALLY comes out sizzling) and I had pad thai. Both were large enough that we took food home and had another meal the next day (full disclosure, I ate mine 2 days later and it was possibly even more delicious than the first time). I think we spent $16/each including tip. Will definitely go back!

Food ok. Service ok. Good for a quick lunch of you are in east winter park. It does have a good selection. They do offer take out but no delivery. Small place, so sometimes can get crowded. Will go back for a quick lunch.

I'm a huge fan of Thai food. This is one of my favorites in the area. I've had a few curries, pad see ew, and pad thai -- all were very tasty. It's definitely a cozy spot, but it's well worth waiting if needed--or just grab some take out! Tip: the black sticky rice dessert is delicious.

Consistent, tasty Thai food for take out or dine in. We usually are taking out and I'm a fan of their Pad Thai. (Tofu or shrimp for me, Chicken or Tofu for hubby) Spice is a relative thing and they are pretty good about it here. If you like spicy food, order it medium here and you'll get a nicely spiced dish with some good heat. If you order Hot, it's a Thai hot and depending on who is in the kitchen, may prove to be more heat than you are used to. If you are on the fence and want a "Man Vs. Food" moment, be bold and try the hot, heck, order it Thai hot and you may actually burst into flames. Most recent take out order had me ordering Thai Basil (med spicy) for hubby, with chicken. Great portion of veggies, tender chicken breast and a savory spicy broth. Hubby loved it. Tom Yum Gum soup and Krab and Cheese wontons and Tofu Pad Thai finished out the order. Delicious food, packaged well and arrived home nice and warm. Staff is always very nice and accommodates special requests as needed.

We eat here at least once a week. Love it. My favorite is the chili jam fried rice...but have had many things on the menu. Food is prepared once you order. Place is always packed at lunch. Go before 1130 or after 1.

While I'm not a big fan of the fact that Thai Villa closes for an extended period of time in the spring (the family travels overseas), it's all worth it when they come back again! This is a quaint little place with a handful of tables and knickknacks strewn about. Make no mistake - culture everywhere you look. The service is on point every time I'm there, and they're always happy to accommodate special requests and dietary considerations. I love the Tom Kha. I love the Pad Woon Sen. My boyfriend loves the Pad Thai. And, um, have you ever had Thai Donuts? To. Die. For. And if you're into duck, they've got a pretty extensive selection of duck dishes. Major bonus: the price is right. This place won't break the bank. The only drawback for me is it seems nearly impossible to get mango sticky rice. They're always out. I'm not completely sure how that's possible, but maybe they just refuse to serve it if they don't have perfectly ripe mangos that particular night. It was really frustrating at first, but it's basically become a running joke now. Besides, the Donuts make up for it every time. And they DO have black sticky rice every time, which is a fantastic Must Try. Lastly... Get the Thai Iced Tea or Thai Iced Coffee. Even if you don't normally like tea or coffee. I think you'll be pleasantly surprised (and by pleasantly surprised, I mean blown away).

Great food, decent atmosphere, super authentic. Spicy is spicy! Would go again. We got the Thai fried rice, pad Thai and seafood soup. Seafood soup was very spicy, but delicious. Everything was good. The pineapple fried rice at another table looked great. It came in a whole pineapple!

This little restaurant is a gem of a place and they always have fresh, delicious food and wonderful service. We have been customers for 10 years. The Tom Yum soup is amazing and the Basil Fried Rice is always a favorite.

I have not been to many Thai restaurants so I don't have much to compare my dinner to but what I got was great! I went with some friends the other night and asked them for suggestions on what to order. They said that the place was known for their curries so I tried the Red Curry with Beef. It was a large bowl of curry and it came with a plate of rice. I spooned the curry over the rice and it had a nice spicy yet creamy texture to it. I did find that I had eaten all the rice and meaty parts and was left with half a bowl of this wonderful sauce. I kind of ate the rest of it like a soup... only to find out that I could have more rice brought to me to finish it up! Its okay... I am learning! The staff was pleasant and the prices good. The decor is a bit strange for me but hey...like I said... I don't visit Thai places very often! I really enjoyed it and hope you will too! Enjoy!

Stopped for lunch on a whim. Thai Villa is a cute little place with decent food. The consistency of the tofu on the noodle dishes is quite good, and after ordering our dishes and the summer rolls, the waitress thought to ask about the shrimp in them (and the egg in the entree) thinking that we might have been vegetarians (we're not, we just like tofu over meat when it's done right). I have had better, but I've also had far, far worse, so overall I'm happy with the place. Disappointed in the summer rolls though, they were loosely rolled, floppy, and couldn't maintain structural integrity after only one bite. The peanut sauce was also too peanut-buttery.

  • Jeff S.

Hands down the best thai ever! The tom yum soup and the chicken panang are the best in the Orlando area! Service is so friendly. I've been coming for 2 years and am hooked! They even recognize my voice when I call in my takeout order. Now that is service!

  • Sharon W.

I simply love their fun and quirky decor on this inside. It really makes you feel like you've stepped into a different atmosphere setting the stage for a relaxed dining experience. I mean, come on, how much cuter can you get than a mock tiki stand in the corner of your restaurant?!? :) The service was very friendly, prompt and attentive. Panang Curry spiced medium was tasty, good amounts of chicken and veggies and the sauce was probably my fav part of the dish. The white rice was a little soggy and overcooked, but drenching curry over it...sometimes that just doesn't matter. The Pad Thai was also tasty. Not like, "woah", but more like, "yeah, this is good". I'm definitely feeling like this is a good go-to place to either escape for a solid meal, or to grab some Thai take out. Nothing like Asian food and movies for a fun night at home. :)

I'll keep it short and sweet. Adorable little restaurant (great for a date) with amazing curry! I find the Christmas light sign on the building to be charming. It's what first made me notice the place, and I've been coming here for the last 5 years or so and always enjoy my meal and the accompanying service.

Food was okay, prices were okay, service was okay. Nothing out of the ordinary, food was "meh" at best (our pad thai was less then spectacular). Will I be back? If someone else paid, sure.

Eating at Thia Villa is like going to a friend's house who's mom cooks really damn good food. I've enjoyed everything I've tried here. My favorite is the Pad Thai, and don't afraid to go medium spicy. I'm not a big fan of spice but it works really well in this dish. The service is ok, nothing spectacular but that's not why I come here.

So, we're still on the hunt for great Thai food... Ended up here at Thai Villa because looks like most thai places are closed on Sundays. I am yet to be WOW'd here in Central Florida, especially when it comes to asian food. Thai Villa was ok. We ordered chicken satay and pad thai with beef and chicken for the kids. My Honey and I had the angel wings, pork larb (spicy), and panang curry (also supposed to be spicy). Their sense of spicy hot seems pretty muted to me. I did like the presentation of the chicken satay; that was really fun. Sorry, my picture is horrendous haha... It came out on a plate with 5 skewers, the requisite peanut sauce and cucumber salad, but it also had this cool little fire pot thingy that I guess you could use to warm up the satay. The portions are super small :-( For example, I don't like how they put the rice on the same plate as the panang. IMO, the rice took up space that should've been filled by the panang... right?? I thought it was pricey for what we got. Considering how small the portions are, it was $40 + tip. AND, we finished everything and I left still feeling a bit hungry. (keep in mind, the 2 kids eat very little) Our food got cold as we waited for the rice :-( We had to ask twice before it finally came out. Come on... I need rice to fully enjoy the meal. On a good note, the kids loved the satay and pad thai. As for me and the dude... I don't think either of us were too impressed. It hit the spot cuz I was craving thai food today. But, I don't know if I'll be coming back again. Who knows though... maybe I'll be craving thai food on a Sunday again...

Pretty sure this is my favorite Thai restaurant in town now. The tiny place just serves such fantastic food...it was like being back in Thailand! The roast duck noodle soup is probably as addictive as krokodil (but without the side effects) and I have never had a roast duck soup with so much duck in it before...I just wish the bowl was bigger! Their larb is also excellent as well as the rad na, pad thai...the list goes on.

The food wasn't the best. I would rather go to Sea Thai or Thai King. Service was terrible. The server forgot to charge us for a bowl of white rice and told us only AFTER she swiped our card that she charged us for it. Way to be cheap and classless!

Looking at the overall rating for this place, I'm wondering if I went to the same restaurant as the rest of the yelpers. Thai Villa, in my opinion, was just okay. I have certainly had better. Perhaps I ordered the wrong thing. I ordered my old stand-by for Thai Restaurants: chicken with cashew nuts and the wonton soup. The soup was okay. The wontons seemed a little overdone, and the soup had far too much black pepper in it. The entree was fine, except it was really nothing special. My meal was drowning in fairly tasteless sauce, to the point where I had to poke my fork around in it to find what I was looking for. The service was attentive and the price was standard for Thai restauraunts in the area, but nothing about this place blew me away. My dining companion, however, says it's the best pad thai and Thai food she's ever had.

Wow.. Thai Villa is one of the BEST Thai resturants in Orlando bar none. The food is very authentic, everything on the menu is delecious and a must try at least once. The Beef Noodle Soup, Pad See Ew, and papaya salad is one of my favorite dishes there. They usually have another menu if you speak Thai. The place is quite small so for lunch and dinner there may be a wait.

Hole in the wall ethnic restaurants always seem to be the best for authentic food and Thai Villa for sure fits the bill. I eat there quite a bit and I've never been disappointed in a dish I've tried. Their thai fresh role and krab and cheese wontons are delicious! I love the sweet tamarind sauce they serve with the role and I have no idea how they get there wonton wraps so crispy the way they do! They are fantastic! I also recomment the red and green curries. Their Panang is also wonderful and you can get these dishes at any range of spiciness (I personally like hot!) Spicy eggplant and spicy stringbeans are also some favorites of mine! Their Pad see Ew is another dish that will never disappoint. Thai Villa is a family run place and the staff is always kind and they give great service! I give them five stars, two thumbs up, many kudos and all that! Great restaurant, great food, great people, great place :)

Well. MAYBE my visit was during the, "Let's do the worst we can" day at the restaurant. Not sure. Read over all of these reviews PRIOR to my visiting the location, and was very surprised to see how low end the place looked and felt. Table covers where cheap vinyl material. Dingy washed out red in color. Seat covers where torn slightly, with tape on them ( I mention because of the reviews as to how nice and pleasant the place was) We where sat by a young lady who did not understand what Coconut water was when asked. We spent a moment showing her pictures to have her explain she will place coconut IN water for us. She brought a glass with coconut in it and poured Dasani (yes, bottled Dasani) into the glass. Coconut water is an option listed on the menu. I ordered the Bintu box.(Spelling is wrong I know sorry)chicken terriaki, i cant even finish the review, i'm here thinking that we should have went to the place on 436 near crack alley since it was rated so high by the Sentinel. This was a sorry sampling of Thai in central Florida. Does any one know how to show only half a star?

Best Thai Food around! Especially on the east side of the county.... my favorite is the Chicken Chili Jam.....you get so that you crave the taste of this dish. I go into withdrawals when the are take trips back to Thailand and are not open....This is as good as it gets!!!!

Ah-mah-zing Thai Food! So authentic, you know someone's grandma must be back there making your food. It is a cute little place and the service is fantastic. I have taken quite a few friends there, and it instantly becomes a fave spot. Try the phad thai...also the fried ice cream is just so yummy!

I love their Chili Jam, I add cashews to it. Standard Good Thai food here, friendly staff, parking can be a little cramped. I've never had a bad dish here though I've eaten here dozens of times and with many different friends.

I love this place. It's pretty small, but I've never had to wait long. The staff is really nice. You can also get take out. I always order the vegetable springs rolls. They are sooo good. I'm also a fan of the cashew nut dish and the jasmine tea!

It's small but it's got tons of charm. Service is great and their food is amazing. I had their pineapple fried rice last time I went and the portion of food that I got was more than I could eat myself and it was absolutely delish. My husband had duck but he didn't have enough rice to go with so he asked for another portion of rice and they gave it to him without charging extra. Usually places don't make a fuss about ordering extra but you also get the extra charge. I would recommend this place to anyone. It's not super fancy, just nice enough to have a sweet evening with your significant other or a casual lunch with a few friends.

I can't recall hardly anything off the menu off hand but I can say that even though this is a very tiny little restauraunt located near the intersection of Aloma Ave in Winter Park and Goldenrod Road on Aloma Ave, there is a lot to be discovered inside. By the looks of it, I would say they can accomodate nearly 50-60 people comfortably(maybe). I doesn't really matter though. Everything there is so fresh and delicious and it has got to be my favorite thai restauraunt anywhere. I heard about it for years and finally stopped in about 3 months ago for the first time. My girlfriend Amanda and I are total crab rangoon freaks and we take them seriously. Thai Villa make the best rangoons we have ever tasted as far as I know. They add a little more spices to theirs and the outside shell is so flakey and light. everything is very moderatley priced and it is very cozy due to it's size overall. The menu is not too big and it is understandable which helps when your on a date and do not wish to look like a total idiot. They have a small selection of domestic beers and a couple imports. The service is almost top notch really. Our servers have always been kind and attentive(even if they had a language barrier to deal with) and treated us very well. If your in the area you should stop on in and check out those rangoons and the sampler platter is nice too.

Authentic Thai food that is delicious. The restaruant itself is small but the flavorsare big. Some dishes I really like here are the Red Curry, Pinapple fried rice and the Pad Thai. I suggest going for lunch when prices are a lttle cheaper, but after 1pm or be prepared to wait...

This place is pretty ok. It is not the BEST thai food I have ever had, not even in Orlando, but it is good. Not too much to say about it other than that....

  • Dana Y.

Pretty good Thai food for the price and location. Right next to Full Sail - go down Forsyth Road and you'll hit it straight on the left. They're friendly enough and have a good selection of food. I recommend going in a small group so you can try a bit of everything, but that's the same at most Thai restaurants. I've only been once, but the service was good and the food came out quickly. Nothing in particular blew me away, but everything in general was pretty good. I'd give it 4*s (minus one star because I've had better in San Jose!)

  • Clarissa O.

I've had Thai all over Orlando and Thai Villa is BY FAR THE BEST! I've eaten practically their entire menu and I've never been disappointed. The staff is friendly, the food delicious. It is a small space but I think that adds to the charm. The restaurant is VERY AUTHENTIC; they take trips back to Thailand every year to stock up on supplies. Can it get any better than that? No. It can't. Do yourself a favor and eat at Thai Villa now!

This is the best Thai food I have ever had in the state of Florida, hands down. There is simply no comparing it to anything else. Their usage of herbs and powders are completely beyond anything you will experience. Their chef is a master. The prices are very good for the portions you get. It's in such a humble little lot in a very small building which was extremely unassuming. You walk in and there is a rotating Christmas tree on the right and little candies on the left and a cozy dining area in front of you. It's a very comfortable atmosphere and the staff was extremely funny and friendly. I love the Phad Ped. It is a variant of red curry with bamboo shoots, sweet basil, peppers, and I added chicken. You can choose from mild, medium, spicy, or thai spicy. I had medium and it was perfect. Spicy yet not excruciating. It came with white rice and it filled me up perfectly. This one exceeded my expectations by far. I also have had the veggie rolls which were better than any I've ever had. The noodle wrapping was so crispy and hot and the vegetables inside were perfect. The chili jam is unbelievable. It comes in a chili jam paste with stir fry celery, carrots, bamboo, and noodles. I had a bite of my girlfriend's shrimp phad thai and it was one of the best ever. I also had some Tom Ka, a soup resembling a curry mixed in coconut milk. It utilized tameuric powder and kimli leaves. It was brothed in a stir of vegetables and curry powder. Unbelievable. Very good place and I highly recommend it. Check out the menus and read the front cover to discover how special and unique they are. They take the time to explain where they are from, what the chef does, and what their goal is. Very thoughtful, funny, and even insightful. I was also very impressed with the variety in their menu. They had volcano chicken on the chalk board which I haven't seen available in a thai restaurant in a long time. They also had cashew nuts, spring rolls, satay, pad thai, green curry, red curry, garlic and chicken, the list goes on and on. They also have many variants of duck.

If you like variety try a lunch special here. For $10 you can get one of several variations on the lunch special (there are 3 fish, 3 beef, and 3 chicken dishes to choose from.) I had the chili paste chicken or something like that it was super spicy hot and delicious, though a bit heavy so if you are watching calories this is not a good choice. The lunch special starts you off with a simple Thai broth with onions, spices, and tofu. The special comes in a lunch box tray and includes jasmine rice, entree of your choice, thai salad, 2 potstickers, a crab rangoon with cream cheese, a mini spring roll, and some kind of shrimp wonton stick. Just what I like, lots of variety but not too much of anything, well except maybe oil in the chicken dish. So yummy. Be careful walking in the front door, by the way, the chimes hit the glass door with a bang and it's really loud. I watched every person walk in do the same thing I did, cringe and look up and nervously laugh because it sounds like you just broke the glass door.

  • Cecelia K.

They are known to take off a month or so in the summer time so make sure to check that they are open. Besides that I love the panang duck curry! Very flavorful and the duck is crispy on the outside and tender on the inside.

  • Jinnie S.

This was just okay. It was decent for the price but it didn't have the right amount of sweetness or fish flavor which I feel are the primary characteristics of a good tasting pad thai. I'm in search for the perfect Pad Thai and I've tried a BUNCH of different places and have yet to find one that is just right.

  • Amanda M.

Enjoy

    (5)
  • Nick S.

Thanks Varsha for the recommendation. The food is delicious, and the service is friendly and on top of it (except for the second order of sake that showed up late). Prices are reasonable. The parking lot is a bitch when the restaurant and the dance school (next door) are busy.

Food ok.

Hands down the best thai ever! The tom yum soup and the chicken panang are the best in the Orlando area! Service is so friendly. I've been coming for 2 years and am hooked! They even recognize my voice when I call in my takeout order. Now that is service!

Great place! Consistently good food, friendly service, clean restaurant! Bonus...can bring your own wine for small uncorking fee!

Food was okay, prices were okay, service was okay. Nothing out of the ordinary, food was "meh" at best (our pad thai was less then spectacular). Will I be back? If someone else paid, sure.

I have been to Thailand several times and I can say that even though this joint lokes like a dive restaurant they cook very well according to real Thai food standards.
